The Beginning

It began in March, 2007. I saw a news story on tv about a 12 year old boy scout who had been rescued in the mountains of North Carolina by a Shiloh Shepherd. What in the world was a Shiloh Shepherd? I had never heard of such a breed. Thus began my research. I became almost obsessed with reading about this incredible breed. I studied everything I could find on them and....I fell in love. I had lost my two dogs to old age within a month of each other a little over a year before. My heart had finally healed from this loss and I was ready to welcome another dog into it. But I wanted it to be a special dog and when I came across the Shiloh Shepherd, I knew that this was it.
